In Chihuahua, Mexico, local rumor has it that this mannequin, known as “Pascualita,” is actually an embalmed body. According to legend, a lady named Pascuala Esparza owned a wedding boutique in the city, making dresses for soon-to-be brides. Her own daughter, Pascualita, was engaged to be married, so Pascuala set about to make her a special dress. Everything was planned when, on the day of the wedding, tragedy struck. Supposedly, Pascualita was bitten by a poisonous insect and later died. Distressed by the death of her daughter, Pascuala set out to immortalize her. She embalmed the body, dressed it in her wedding gown, and propped it up in the window of her boutique, for all to see.
Today, Pascualita remains standing in the window of “La Popular” in downtown Chihuahua. Although commonly regarded to as a myth, the details in the mannequin (especially in the hands) keep onlookers wondering.

This dog’s owner was hit by a car and was killed instantly. The doctor’s covered the body up and as they did so, the owner’s dog wandered over and sniffed the man’s arm. The dog realised it was his owner and curled up in a ball next to the owner and cried.
So sad :(
Mind blowing photographs of animals inside womb.
These amazing embryonic animal photographs of dolphins, sharks, dogs, penguins, cats and elephants are from a new National Geographic Documentary called “Extraordinary Animals in the Womb”. The show’s producer, Peter Chinn, used a combination of three-dimensional ultrasound scans, computer graphics and tiny cameras to capture the process from conception to birth. They are the most detailed embryonic animal pictures ever seen.

It took walking in the frigid temperatures to discover something: Eventually you get cold. Once you’ve gotten cold, you begin to lose feeling. Once you lose feeling, you don’t think straight— can’t function correctly.
Maybe I’ve gotten cold, on the inside I mean. I sometimes feel that I’ve lost…
